3 March 2008

Once I hoped that I was you
Innocent and clear-minded
Still trusting logic to solve
The difficult puzzles in life

Experience has dulled the brightness
Of clearness, logic and reason
I merely raise an eyebrow
As the world goes on smashing paradigms

(For pure fun I might sometimes
Trust the laws of nature
But in my heart I know
They are treacherous as the sea)

In your deep, brown marveleyes
Your knowledge shines through
And I want more than anything
To kiss you

And take your sense of reason
On a rollercoaster tour

Leaving us with each other
Purely illogical
Confused and overjoiced
